Edmund Hillary merino base and mid layers are made in Aotearoa New Zealand using 100% traceable NZ merino wool sourced from Homebrook Station in the Marlborough Sounds. By using 100% merino from the same flock and same habitat, we ensure high quality, wearable garments that are consistently durable across the range.

Every Edmund Hillary merino base and mid layer is lovingly handcrafted in Aotearoa New Zealand by a group of highly-skilled garment makers. Sourced, knitted, dyed and cut in New Zealand, our merino is then sewn on specialised machines by our makers.
Each maker sews their name into the garment's care label so you'll know who made your garment.

Our Edmund Hillary base layers are your ideal next-to-skin layer that regulate your body temperature and keep you dry by absorbing and releasing moisture away from your skin.
From our 100% Homebrook wool, we've created a dense 200gram knit that utilises the natural crinkles of the merino to produce garments that provide the wearer with warmth, comfort, softness and stretch to allow for ease of movement across all activities.
