REPAIR GUARANTEE

LONGEVITY IS IMPORTANT

Longevity is important to us and our aim is to provide clothing that lasts many years. We back our garments and accessories with our Edmund Hillary Lifetime Repair Guarantee.  This covers manufacturing defects for the usual lifetime of such a product which will be judged at our discretion.

REPAIRING A GARMENT

When the product is returned to us and inspected and deemed to be a manufacturing defect it will be repaired free of charge. As a member of Mindful Fashion NZ, we are committed to maximising the longevity of our products and will always try and repair first. Once assessed, if the item is not considered repairable then, depending on the life and wear of the jacket, we will make amends to you in a way that we see is fair.

The Lifetime Repair Guarantee does not cover repairs due to improper cleaning, storage negligence, accidents or normal wear and tear. Edmund Hillary may offer to repair the damage not covered by the Lifetime Repair Guarantee at cost price.

LIFETIME REPAIR FAQS

What should I do if my product is faulty?

If your product is damaged or is not functioning properly please email us at hello@edmundhillary.com with as much information as you can including:

-         Where and when it was bought

-         Style, colour and size of garment

-         Any photographic evidence of the damage or issue

-         Receipt or other evidence of purchase where possible

We will then require you to clean (if worn) the garment according to care instructions on the label and post the garment to us at an address specified in our reply.

What does 'lifetime' mean?

Lifetime is considered to be how long a product is reasonably expected to last, which will be judged at our discretion.

When we assess the product we will take into account how long ago the product was bought and how it has been used.

Can I return the garment for repair if I have caused the damage?

We can, in some circumstances, repair the product for you at cost price as we have access to highly skilled garment makers.

Please contact us at hello@edmundhillary.com and let us know the issue and we can discuss next steps.
